Job summary

Akcoat, a member of Akkök Holding, seeks a Strategy and Financial Reporting Executive in Istanbul, Türkiye. You will support financial statements, management reporting, cost analysis and profitability monitoring with IFRS/TFRS compliance.

The role requires strong analytical skills, robust financial knowledge and the ability to translate data into clear business insights while partnering with cross-functional teams across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or related fields.
• 8+ years in financial reporting, controlling, cost accounting or management reporting, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong IFRS/TFRS knowledge; Big 4 experience is a plus.
• Cost accounting, product costing, variance and profitability analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate financial data into clear business insights for cross-functional teams.
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint; ERP/Tableau experience is an asset.
• Excellent English communication; able to work with diverse teams and relocate to Istanbul.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of financial statements, management reports and IFRS/TFRS aligned analyses.
• Lead monthly close, management reporting and performance reviews.
• Prepare detailed cost, margin and profitability analyses by product, customer and market.
• Analyze actual vs budget/forecast and identify key drivers.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning with group companies.
• Monitor KPIs and produce periodic management reports.
• Contribute to overhead cost control, expense analysis and efficiency improvements.
• Translate financial/operational data into clear, decision-oriented presentations.
• Support profitability improvement, cost optimization and performance management projects.
• Participate in data, reporting and finance transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, production, sales and supply chain teams for timely reporting.
