Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Demand Planner to manage the sales pipeline, forecast demand, and align supply plans with business opportunities. You will coordinate with Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Headquarters to ensure accurate forecasts and timely product availability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the sales opportunity pipeline across all sales channels and key accounts.
• Monitor project status, expected closing dates, and revenue forecasts.
• Evaluate pipeline quality and identify risks to target achievement.
• Track project conversion rates and forecast sales realization.
• Coordinate with sales teams to ensure opportunity data accuracy.
• Prepare weekly and monthly pipeline reports for management review.
• Identify and high-risk projects that may impact business targets.
• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts.
• Analyze historical sell-in, sell-out, and market trends to improve forecast accuracy.
• Review sales forecasts against inventory and production capacity.
• Manage demand changes related to promotions, tenders, major projects, and seasonal business.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and End-of-Life (EOL) planning.
• Collaborate with HQ planning teams to ensure forecast alignment.
• Lead demand review processes within the S&OP cycle.
• Consolidate sales forecasts and business assumptions.
• Align demand plans with supply, procurement, and logistics capabilities.
• Participate in monthly business reviews and executive planning meetings.
• Ensure alignment between financial targets and demand forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels and Days of Supply (DOS).
• Identify potential stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Develop action plans to improve inventory health.
• Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure product availability.
• Manage allocation issues during constrained supply situations.
• Prepare weekly PSI (Production, Sales, Inventory) reports.
• Perform root-cause analysis for forecast variances.
• Track forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
• Analyze demand trends by customer, channel, industry, and product category.
• Provide management with actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Logistics, SCM, and Finance teams.
• Support strategic projects and large customer opportunities.
• Communicate supply risks, production delays, and inventory constraints proactively.
• Manage demand planning activities related to government tenders and key enterprise projects.
