Job summary

MINDPICKED is seeking a Financial Specialist for our client. The role focuses on calculating production costs, stock values, and COGS, and preparing profitability reports across products and customers.

You will compare actual costs to budgets, investigate variances, and ensure contracts cover costs before procurement. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Economics/Finance, 2–3 years in finance, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
• 2-3 years of experience in finance, cost analysis, or related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Must reside in Mersin.

Responsibilities

• Calculate production costs, stock values, and COGS (nominal and hyperinflation-adjusted).
• Prepare profitability reports by product, customer, and combined product-customer segments (nominal and hyperinflation-adjusted).
• Compare actual production costs and components against budget/estimated costs for fruits and BOM materials (concentrate, sugar, flavors).
• Investigate and report variances exceeding 5%, notifying sales/management when necessary.
• Perform forward-looking cost and sales calculations to ensure sales contracts cover costs before procurement.
• Monitor stock quantities, prices, open contract prices, and identify stock without contracts.
• Analyze and report rework costs and root causes.
• Manage and report on the gross profit cycle.
• Proactively generate and share reports with management without waiting for requests.
