Job summary

Rixos Tersane Istanbul is seeking a detail-oriented Budget & Reporting Specialist to join the Finance team. You will assist in preparing budgets, consolidations, and forecasts for the property, and produce monthly management reports to support decision-making.

The role requires strong Excel skills, familiarity with ERP systems, and the ability to analyze variances, monitor expenses, and ensure data integrity across reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Hospitality industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost control and reporting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP systems experience is a plus.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
• Strong English communication; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, consolidation, and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management reports, and budget performance analyses.
• Analyze actual results against budget and forecast; explain significant variances.
• Monitor operating expenses and departmental budgets to support cost control.
• Coordinate with department heads to collect and validate budgeting data.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Prepare financial analyses, reports, and presentations for management decisions.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based reporting tools, dashboards, and templates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through financial data analysis.
• Ensure data integrity across reporting systems and support audits.
• Ensure compliance with policies and reporting deadlines.
