Rixos Tersane Istanbul is seeking a detail-oriented Budget & Reporting Specialist to join the Finance team. You will assist in preparing budgets, consolidations, and forecasts for the property, and produce monthly management reports to support decision-making.

The role requires strong Excel skills, familiarity with ERP systems, and the ability to analyze variances, monitor expenses, and ensure data integrity across reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Hospitality industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost control and reporting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP systems experience is a plus.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
• Strong English communication; detail-oriented and organized.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive professional to join our Finance team as a "Budget & Reporting Specialist".

Assist in the preparation, consolidation, and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the properties.

Prepare monthly financial reports, management reports, and budget performance analyses.

Analyze actual results against budget and forecast, identify variances, and provide clear explanations for significant deviations.

Monitor operating expenses and departmental budgets to support effective cost control and financial planning.

Coordinate with department heads and relevant teams to collect, validate, and consolidate budget and forecast data.

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes by ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of financial information.

Prepare financial analyses, reports, and presentations to support management decision-making.

Monitor budget utilization and follow up on forecast updates, budget revisions, and financial performance indicators.

Develop and maintain Excel-based reporting tools, dashboards, and templates to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Identify trends, potential cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement through financial data analysis.

Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across reporting systems.

Support internal and external audit processes by providing relevant financial reports and documentation.

Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and reporting deadlines.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Previous experience in budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, or a similar position; hospitality industry experience is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting principles.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems is an advantage.

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

Good command of written and spoken English.

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when handling financial data.

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with different departments.

A proactive mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies, analyze financial performance, and recommend improvements.
