Job summary

IgniteTech is seeking a Staff Software Engineer who can think in systems and build AI-native infrastructure for autonomous agent workflows. You will own the machinery that enables reliable, enterprise-grade delivery for Fortune 100 customers, leading senior engineers and shaping technical direction.

You’ll operate at the intersection of product engineering, AI infrastructure, and leadership, designing end-to-end workflows from plan through merged release with minimal human intervention over

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full‑stack web engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience building AI-powered systems and agent-based workflows.
• Hands-on with modern agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or equivalents).
• Ability to reason about frontier models and optimize for capability vs cost.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-grade software with reliability and security.

Responsibilities

• Architect agent-ready systems with context, tooling, evaluation harnesses and guardrails.
• Orchestrate parallel agent fleets and improve capabilities after issues.
• Ship production features quickly while maintaining reliability for enterprise customers.
• Create reusable improvements across the team (rules, context files, eval frameworks).
• Lead senior engineers, review architecture and PRs, set technical direction.
