Job summary

ING Hubs Türkiye is seeking a Solution Architect Chapter Lead to shape technology strategy and lead a chapter of engineers. You will translate business needs into scalable, secure technology solutions while mentoring teams and ensuring architectural alignment across ING’s global banking network.

You will drive cloud adoption, modernization programs, and strategic roadmap planning with Product Owners and Domain Architects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, solution design or architecture.
• Proven experience leading technical teams in complex environments.
• Experience as Solution Architect/Lead Engineer/Technical Lead or similar.
• Strong stakeholder management across business and tech domains.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Software Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English (C1+).

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architectures across multiple systems and domains.
• Lead feasibility studies and solution assessments for new initiatives.
• Drive modernization and cloud transformation programs.
• Define integration strategies, standards, and patterns.
• Promote scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Grow and coach a chapter of engineers (8–12 people).
• Drive hiring, onboarding, and talent development activities.
• Collaborate with global ING teams on delivery.
