Job summary

ING Hubs Türkiye seeks a Chapter Lead – Data & AI Engineering to shepherd a community of Data & AI engineers, ensuring technical excellence and scalable delivery. You will build expertise in data platforms, ML systems, and AI solutions while fostering innovation and strong engineering culture.

You will also coach, mentor, and collaborate with global stakeholders to align standards and capabilities and to drive impactful, data-led initiatives across squads.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in Data/ML/AI domains.
• Strong understanding of data platforms, ML systems, and AI technologies.
• Hands-on with data pipelines, cloud environments, and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a chapter of Data & AI engineers, supporting growth through coaching and performance management.
• Define and drive engineering standards and reusable patterns across data platforms and AI solutions.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure delivery of data pipelines and ML models with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute hands-on to high-impact initiatives when needed while ensuring reliable delivery.
• Align chapter capacity with organizational priorities, collaborating with Product and Tribe Leads.
• Drive roadmap initiatives and upskill efforts to strengthen capabilities.
• Promote modern engineering practices and continuous innovation across the chapter.
• Collaborate with other Chapter Leads and global stakeholders to align standards and capabilities.
