Job summary

Token Financial Technologies in Turkey is seeking a passionate Software Design – Project Engineer & Long Term Intern to join our fintech team. You will work cross-functionally to help bring Token products to market quickly and securely.

Ideal candidates are engineering students in their 3rd or 4th year or recent graduates with experience in C/C++ or Java/Kotlin, Linux/Android basics, and an interest in payment systems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CE/EE or related field, in 3rd/4th year or a recent graduate.
• Experience with C/C++ or Java/Kotlin in school, internship, or personal projects.
• Basic knowledge of Linux or Android operating systems.
• Understanding of software development processes (version control, testing, debugging).
• Interest in payment protocols, secure data transmission, or SDKs/APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develops and tests components for POS devices, EMV applications, and payment systems.
• Assists in integration, testing, certification, and deployment of banking applications and payment infrastructures.
• Provides technical support to developers regarding SDKs, APIs, and payment modules.
• Participates in log analysis, issue detection, and troubleshooting processes.
• Creates technical documentation and coordinates with the developer ecosystem.
• Follows project plans, tracks tasks, and collaborates with the technical team.
• Contributes to the development of secure payment processes.

• Contribute to the development and testing of POS devices, EMV applications, and payment system components.
• Assist the team in integration, testing, certification, and deployment phases of banking applications and payment infrastructures.
• Provide technical support to 3rd-party developers regarding SDKs, APIs, and payment modules.
• Actively participate in log analysis, issue detection, and troubleshooting processes.
• Create technical documentation and manage communication with the developer ecosystem.
• Follow project plans, track tasks, and coordinate effectively with the technical team.
• Take part in the development of secure payment processes.

The Perfect Fit

• Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering or other relevant engineering fields students (3rd or 4th year) or newly graduated candidates.
• Strong interest in embedded systems, Linux/Android development, and payment technologies.
• Experience in developing school, internship, or personal projects using at least one of the following: C/C++ or Java/Kotlin.
• Basic knowledge of Linux or Android operating system architectures.
• Fundamental understanding of software development processes (version control, testing, debugging).
• Interest in network structures, encryption, secure data communication, or payment protocols (hand‑on experience is a plus).
• Willingness to learn about SDKs, APIs, and service integrations.
