Job summary

Token Financial Technologies in Turkey is seeking a Junior System & Cloud Engineer to help ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of our services and infrastructure. You will collaborate with a skilled team to resolve issues, automate processes, and improve monitoring and CI/CD practices.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with Kubernetes, Linux, networking concepts, and cloud/on-premise environments, with opportunities to grow in container technologies and IT security awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Basic Linux knowledge and willingness to improve Linux administration skills.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI, LAN/WAN, firewall, VPN).
• Interest in container technologies and Kubernetes; hands-on experience a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitLab/ArgoCD or Kubernetes manifests a plus.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging concepts and tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, QRadar, Zabbix) a plus.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the availability, performance, and reliability of our services and infrastructure.
• Investigate and resolve service and infrastructure issues with the team.
• Contribute to automation, monitoring, and operational improvements for reliability.
• Participate in operating containerized and cloud/on-premise environments.
• Gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Linux, networking, monitoring, and CI/CD.
• Participate in system performance analysis, capacity planning, and service improvements.
• Take part in periodic on-call duty with team support and guidance.
• Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to infrastructure development.

What You’ll Be Rocking

• Support the availability, performance, and reliability of our services and infrastructure.
• Work with experienced team members to investigate and resolve service and infrastructure issues.
• Contribute to automation, monitoring, and operational improvements to make our systems more reliable.
• Participate in the operation and improvement of containerized and cloud/on-premise environments.

• Participate in periodic on-call duty as part of the team, with appropriate support and guidance.

The Perfect Fit

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 0-2 years of experience in systems engineering, system administration, system design, DevOps, SRE, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and a willingness to improve Linux administration skills.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, OSI Model, LAN/WAN, Firewall, Load Balancing, and VPN.
• Interest in container technologies and Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes is a plus, but not required.
• Basic familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitLab, ArgoCD, or Kubernetes manifests is a plus.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging concepts and tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, QRadar, or Zabbix is a plus.
• Interest in cloud and on-premise infrastructure technologies.
• Basic awareness of IT service management and information security concepts such as PCI DSS, and ISO 20000 / 27001 is a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong willingness to learn, explore new technologies, and take responsibility.
• Ability to work collaboratively, listen to different perspectives, and communicate ideas clearly.
• Customer and business-oriented mindset.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
