Job summary

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems in Izmir is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to lead and coordinate the daily manufacturing operations. The role requires ensuring target production and coordinating with team leaders across shifts to maintain smooth line performance.

Responsibilities include supervising line changes, safety compliance, training operators, and resolving production issues with technicians to sustain quality and output.

Qualifications

• Automotive quality standards (ISO 16949) knowledge
• Experience with Quality control methods like MPI and SPC
• Knowledge of TPM and maintenance systems

Responsibilities

• Receive information from the previous shift Team Leader
• Inform the next shift Team Leader
• Forward information to the Shift Manager
• Follow up on series changes in production lines
• Coordinate line openings and closings
• Inform Shift Manager of improper production
• Ensure line production targets are reached
• Assist line technicians to solve production problems
• Control stocks of raw materials, WIP and finished goods
• Monitor productivity, traceability, lot paper, MPI and TPM records
• Provide training to production operators
• Enforce work safety rules compliance
• Maintain order and cleanliness of stations, attire and equipment
• Inform Shift Manager about stations, rotations, trainings, holidays, overtime, and missing operators
