Job summary

Ajax Systems in Istanbul Tuzla DESBAS Free Zone is seeking SMT Production Engineers to manage SMT lines, optimize processes, and lead shift teams in a 3-shift system.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics-related fields, at least 3 years on SMT lines, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with Lean/Kaizen and ISO 9001; English and Turkish language proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience on SMT production lines in electronics manufacturing.
• Business-level fluency in English and Turkish (written and spoken).
• Willingness and ability to work in a 3-shift system.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and process improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of SMT production lines across shifts.
• Respond quickly to technical failures to minimize downtime.
• Propose and implement Lean/Kaizen improvements to raise efficiency and quality.
• Prepare maintenance and failure reports for upper management.
• Monitor processes for ISO 9001 compliance and quality standards.
• Foster effective communication across shift teams to meet KPIs.
