Job summary

Atlas Copco in Istanbul, Türkiye, is seeking a Service Sales Engineer to grow the service business by developing customer relationships and identifying new service sales opportunities. You will report to the Service Sales Manager and work on-site at our Istanbul office.

You will develop opportunities within the customer portfolio, prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and promote service solutions including maintenance agreements and spare parts.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical-Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• At least 2 years in technical or service sales or similar roles.
• Ability to analyze customer needs and propose solutions.
• Knowledge of sales reporting and forecasting processes.
• Proficient with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
• Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow service sales opportunities within the assigned customer portfolio.
• Identify new customers and build strong business relationships to expand the service business.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close service sales opportunities.
• Promote service solutions including maintenance agreements, spare parts, optimization, field service and repairs.
• Conduct regular customer visits, understand customer needs, and offer value-added service solutions.
• Manage the renewal and growth of existing Service Maintenance Agreements.
• Build strong collaboration with Service, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure successful delivery of sold services.
• Follow-up and implementation of global customers and service solutions together with relevant colleagues, including experience sharing
• Develop competencies to provide technical value to customers in the field.
• Maintain and update customer information, installed base data, and sales opportunities in the CRM system.
• Monitor sales performance, maintain accurate forecasts, and provide regular activity reports.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement through proactive customer engagement.

To succeed, you will need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales, service sales, sales engineering, after-sales services, or similar functions
• Technical capability to analyze customer needs and propose appropriate technical and commercial solutions
• Knowledge of sales reporting, customer portfolio management, and sales forecasting processes
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and digital sales tools
• Strong customer relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
