Job summary

Mars Athletic Club is seeking a Senior Systems Specialist to join our IT team at the Ortaköy headquarters in Istanbul. You will manage Windows and Linux servers, AD/IDM, and virtualization infrastructure to ensure availability and security across our tech stack.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in systems administration, strong monitoring skills (Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG), and experience with backup/DR and network security concepts. On-call and shift-based duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in systems administration.
• Hands-on with Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Experience with Active Directory and Red Hat IDM.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/vCenter or Nutanix AHV).
• Experience with backup/DR; Veeam preferred.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG).
• Knowledge of firewall, SSL/TLS, PKI and basic security concepts.
• Basic knowledge of WAF, Load Balancers and MSSQL.
• Familiar with vulnerability management and ISO27001/PCI-DSS.
• Ability to write/maintain technical docs and runbooks.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Willingness to participate in on-call and shift-based support.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation, configuration, patching and lifecycle of Windows and Linux servers.
• Administer Active Directory / Red Hat IDM, DNS and DHCP.
• Support operation, availability and continuity of virtualization infrastructure.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery processes and restore tests.
• Monitor system health via centralized monitoring platforms.
• Provide technical support for firewall, certificates, WAF and load balancers.
• Assist remediation of vulnerability findings for audits.
• Manage access-related processes and update inventories.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Monitor alerts and participate in on-call rotations.
