Job summary

Beko Corporate, located at Arçelik IoT Labs in Ankara (ODTÜ Teknokent), is seeking a passionate AWS Cloud Developer to join the R&D Directorate. You will design cloud services for the HomeWhiz IoT Platform and work with mobile, embedded, and design teams on new features.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in CS/CE/SE, 3+ years of AWS cloud experience, strong Java and English skills, and hands-on Terraform experience. This is a full-time on-site role in Ankara.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/SE (MSc or PhD a plus).
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing AWS cloud services.
• Experience with test-driven development, Agile methodologies, and Git workflow.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud and building AWS cloud-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of Java (or Python/Go/NodeJS) with solid architecture understanding.
• Hands-on development and operations experience with AWS (Terraform a plus).
• Broad experience in front-end & back-end frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases.
• Strong networking knowledge and lightweight messaging protocols.
• Excellent English communication skills.

• Design cloud services for the HomeWhiz IoT Platform,
• Improve the architecture on a regular basis for better performance, cost, and availability,
• Sync up with the mobile/embedded/design teams for the development of upcoming features.

The position is located in Arçelik IoT Labs in Ankara “ODTÜ Teknokent”.

How do we describe the perfect fit?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering (M.Sc. or Ph.D. would be a plus),
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the development of AWS cloud services,
• Being comfortable with test-driven development, agile methodologies, and Git workflow,
• Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud & Proven Experience in developing AWS Cloud-based Applications,
• Strong knowledge of Java (Python, Go, or NodeJS is a plus) programming language with a neat understanding of software architecture design in general,
• Deep hands-on development and operations experience with AWS cloud platform (Terraform is a plus)
• Broad experience in front-end & back-end frameworks,
• Thorough understanding of SQL & NoSQL database systems,
• Strong knowledge of networking & lightweight messaging protocols,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
