Job summary
Eaton in Istanbul is seeking a Senior Software & Connectivity Support Engineer to act as the first escalation point for complex software and connectivity issues within Eaton's electrical and energy-management portfolio. You will troubleshoot non-standard software and networking problems, collaborating with L3 engineering, R&D, and Product Management, while delivering training and knowledge sharing to partners and customers.
Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.
Qualifications
- Troubleshoot software for industrial applications.
- Diagnose networking issues using TCP/IP and industrial protocols.
- Understand electrical products and energy-management systems.
- Explain software-hardware interactions clearly.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Act as first escalation point for non-standard software and connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with L3 engineers, R&D, and Product Management to resolve complex cases.
- Provide advanced technical support via phone, email and web channels.
- Support licence management and deployment for partners and customers.
- Deliver technical training to partners, customers and internal teams (remote and onsite).
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge-base development.
- Participate in CI initiatives and best-practice sharing.
- Support technical reporting and KPI tracking at team level.
