Keyrock seeks a Senior Rust Engineer with deep trading systems experience and strong AWS knowledge to join our Capital Markets division. You will own high-impact trading infrastructure, set technical direction, and drive improvements in performance and operability within a fully remote, global team.

The role emphasizes Rust, low-latency design, and collaboration with quants and traders. The position requires production-grade Rust skills, understanding of FIX/WebSocket protocols, and Linux/AWS

Qualifications

• Production-grade Rust experience building high-performance, concurrent systems.
• Hands-on experience in a systematic trading environment (HFT, Market Making, Quantitative Trading).
• Strong AWS and Linux expertise, including cloud infrastructure trade-offs for latency-sensitive workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise low-latency, mission-critical trading systems.
• Own key trading stack components end-to-end from architecture through production operation.
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and engineers to improve trading performance and resilience.
• Maintain and evolve trading infrastructure focusing on performance, stability, observability, and operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across exchange connectivity, execution, and market data handling.
• Drive engineering standards through leadership, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Embrace AI-assisted workflows and automation to evolve tooling and processes.
