Job summary

Keyrock, a leading digital assets firm, is hiring for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join the Central Data Team. You’ll build streaming and batch pipelines and shape the data platform that powers trading, risk, and research across a globally distributed organization.

You’ll design lakehouse and time-series storage, implement governance and quality checks, and deliver self-serve tooling for other teams. A strong focus on performance, observability, and IaC is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of building production data systems.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with understanding of engines.
• Readable, testable code and strong data modelling skills.
• Experience with streaming and analytical workloads.

Responsibilities

• Build streaming and batch pipelines ingesting market, trading, and portfolio data.
• Develop self-serve tooling to publish, consume, and build on data products.
• Own data contracts and schema evolution to reduce cross-team coordination.
• Design the lakehouse and time-series storage around common query patterns.
• Implement data governance and quality framework with validation and lineage.
• Build analytics used by desks and wealth/asset management teams.
• Instrument observability, cost, and performance from day one.
• Operate infrastructure as code with Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD.
