Job summary

Medsien is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our fully remote team operating from Istanbul under a contractor agreement. You will design and scale automated tests, implement AI-powered testing approaches, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure high quality software.

Applicants should have 8+ years in software testing, strong Java/automation skills, and experience with CI/CD, API testing, and AI tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
10+ years in software testing with emphasis on automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright.
Proven CI/CD experience using Jenkins and GitHub.
Proficiency with Git/GitHub workflows and code reviews.
Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and agentic approaches.
API testing using Postman/REST Assured.
Familiarity with Jira/TestRail for test management.
Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end test strategy for web applications.
Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright (Java).
Integrate automated tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with GitHub workflows.
Apply AI-assisted methods to improve testing efficiency and quality.
Perform functional, regression, API, and exploratory testing.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to embed quality.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and drive quality across sprints.
