Job summary

The Role:

We are seeking multiple Senior Project Engineers to join our technical leadership team. In this role, you will lead the engineering execution, commissioning and integration for complex industrial projects encompassing Electrical Infrastructure & LV Works, Security Systems, Instrumentation & Control (I&C), SCADA, and Telecommunications.

You will serve as the technical lead across the full project lifecycle—from pre-bid design strategy to final commissioning—mentoring engineers and interfaces directly with key clients and site teams. This role requires travel to project sites within Turkey and internationally for site supervision, commissioning, and client handovers.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

• Review project scope, specifications, standard operating procedures, and client engineering requirements for industrial projects.
• Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, risk mitigation strategies, and technical budgets.
• Drive technical procurement strategy; evaluate, select, and manage key suppliers, OEMs, and sub-contractors utilizing deep knowledge of industrial supply chains.
• Prepare technical bid documents, scope of work documents and manage procurement processes for components and system packages.

Design, Documentation & Technical Leadership:

• Direct and review multi-disciplinary design deliverables, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), cause-and-effect matrices, layouts, load calculations, and control philosophies.
• Ensure compliance with international (IEEE, IEC, ISO) and local engineering codes and safety standards.
• Lead functional coordination between client engineering teams, sub-contractors, and internal project teams.
• Develop and maintain QA/QC inspection and test plans (ITPs), operation & maintenance procedures, and quality dossier frameworks.

Site Execution:

• Oversee and manage site installation activities, ensuring electrical works (cabling, containment, panel installations) and system integrations adhere to layout plans and technical specifications. (Travel to project sites within Turkey and abroad is required.)
• Conduct field inspections, manage site non-conformances (NCRs), and ensure strict adherence to project QA/QC standards.
• Direct subcontractor activities, resolve on-site disputes, and act as the primary technical point of contact for client site representatives
• Ensure safety compliance and implement risk mitigation measures.
• Define, approve, and oversee commissioning and site acceptance test (SAT) strategies for SCADA, I&C, electrical, and network packages.
• Oversee loop testing, system pre-commissioning, functional integration, and fail-safe testing under live project conditions.
• Direct punch-list clearance, lead technical resolution, and secure final system acceptance and handovers from client teams.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. degree in Electrical Eng., Electrical & Electronics Eng., I&C, Telecoms or a relevant discipline.
• 6+ years of project engineering experience in industrial environments (preferably Oil & Gas, Energy, Heavy Industrial, or Infrastructure) is required.
• Proven track record in leading engineering packages in at least one of the following areas: Electrical LV Systems, Security Systems, I&C, SCADA, or Telecom Networks.
• Solid understanding of technical procurement processes, material selection, and strong familiarity with the industrial vendor and supplier market in Turkey.
• Strong understanding of design, construction, and commissioning practices.
• Expert-level familiarity or direct oversight capability in tools within your primary specialization:
• Industrial SCADA: ABB 800xA, Siemens WinCC, Honeywell Experion (or similar)
• VSS: Bosch BVMS, Genetec Security Center, Hikvision iVMS (or similar)
• Distributed Acoustic Sensing: Sintela, OptaSense (or similar)
• Proven capability to mentor engineers, lead site teams, resolve technical conflicts, and manage external client relationships.
• Willingness to travel to project sites within Turkey and abroad is required.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Proven experience in preparing Quality Control Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and managing site QA/QC documentation/audits is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and experience handling client inspection handovers in the Oil & Gas or heavy industrial sectors.
• Experience working directly with international EPC contractors or global Oil & Gas operators.
