Job summary

Avolta, based at İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive category performance, optimize product assortments, and support sales growth through effective product, promotion, and inventory management while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and collaboration across Marketing, Procurement, and Operations in a dynamic international environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Retail, Category Management, Commercial Operations, or Product Management.
• At least 2 years of team management experience.
• Experience in Travel Retail, Duty Free, FMCG or organized retail preferred.
• Proven sales analysis, inventory management and category tracking experience.
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and in-store presentation standards.
• Strong analytical thinking, reporting and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good command of English.
• Strong planning, organizational and communication skills.
• Results oriented, proactive and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Analyze category and brand performance weekly and monthly and drive sales actions.
• Prepare sales forecasts for new product launches and promotions.
• Coordinate timely execution of global and local promotions across stores.
• Ensure product availability, inventory accuracy and optimal stock levels.
• Monitor price changes and ensure compliance with pricing policies.
• Track and analyze sales and profitability by category and brand.
• Ensure Visual Merchandising standards across all stores.
• Monitor promotional activities and marketing materials.
• Plan, organize and oversee inventory and stock counts.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Procurement on excess stock and new products.
• Collaborate with Category Management, Marketing, Procurement and Operations to boost sales.
• Organize supplier visits and maintain strong business relationships.
• Develop product training plans for store teams and deliver training.
• Generate ideas to increase market share and improve customer experience.
