Job summary

Avolta is seeking an experienced Logistics & Customs Specialist based at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport. You will ensure compliant customs operations across Türkiye Duty Free business, handling declarations, bonded warehouse activity, inventory reporting and transfers in a fast-paced, international setting.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 5 years in customs operations, and strong SAP/MS Office skills, with English proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Customs, Economics, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in customs operations, import/export processes, or related logistics.
• Strong knowledge of customs laws, regulations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage customs clearance for imported goods and ensure timely procedures.
• Prepare, review, and register customs declarations for import, bonded warehouse, transit, and summary declarations.
• Maintain customs documentation including invoices, bills of lading, permits and licenses.
• Coordinate with Customs Authorities, airport authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Create and maintain system records for product receipts, POs, inventory movements, and transactions.
• Monitor inventory movements between bonded warehouses, distribution facilities and duty-free stores.
