Job summary

ARAMCO is seeking an experienced Process Simulation Twin & Optimization Engineer in Saudi Arabia. You will lead actions to debottleneck operations and optimize processes using twin technology across refinery and petrochemical facilities.

A Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering is required, with 15–20 years in process simulation and strong leadership skills. Role focuses on modeling, KPI monitoring, and delivering performance improvements with robust thermodynamic modeling and ability to work with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
Minimum 15 years of experience in Process Simulation/Modeling; 20 years preferred.
Expertise in refinery processes, feedstock movements, margins and mass/energy balances.
Familiarity with international standards for advanced process control modeling.
Strong leadership and analytical troubleshooting capabilities.

Responsibilities

Streamline Process Simulation Twin & Optimization objectives aligned with corporate goals.
Monitor KPIs to improve simulation model performance.
Lead development of process simulation models for portfolio plants.
Conduct offline studies to analyze processes and optimize performance.
Develop and maintain thermodynamic models and equations.
Verify model accuracy against plant data and perform sensitivity analyses.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Lead design reviews, model reviews and commissioning sessions.
Provide SME guidance to Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams.
