Job summary

OREDATA is a Digital Transformation & IT Consulting firm seeking a senior pre-sales/solution engineering leader based in Istanbul. The role focuses on translating customer needs into compelling solution proposals, guiding RFI/RFP processes, and presenting value to C-level executives.

You will lead discovery sessions, demonstrations and workshops, collaborating with sales and engineering to craft the best solution for enterprise clients while maintaining strong communication and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably 10-12 years.
• Proven experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, solution consulting, technical consulting, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong experience working directly with enterprise customers.
• Confident in leading customer meetings, presentations and technical discussions.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly.
• General knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, cloud solutions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to adapt to different customer profiles and travel for visits when required.
• Based in Istanbul and available for customer visits when required.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer business and technical requirements; translate into solution proposals.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to sales team during RFI/RFP processes.
• Lead customer discovery sessions, technical presentations, workshops and product demonstrations.
• Present solution capabilities, business value, and differentiators to executives.
• Contribute to technical proposals and customer-facing solution documents.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and other teams to shape the best solution.
• Address customer questions with a solution-oriented, consultative approach.
