Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Regional Manager, Pre-construction, GES to lead the engineering design phases for large-scale fulfillment facilities across AMET. You will oversee site selection, budgeting, concept to detail design, and readiness for construction, while ensuring timelines, quality, and financial targets.

You will manage a multi-disciplinary team, navigate design conflicts, and drive risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or engineering project management, real estate development, or architecture/design.
• 15+ years of experience in construction management, pre-construction management, or related disciplines with progressive leadership responsibility.
• 10+ years leading development and pre-construction activities for logistics facilities, warehouses, industrial facilities, and/or critical infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Project Leadership: Lead pre-construction activities for complex projects with Design & Construction stakeholders and Real Estate teams.
• Risk Management & Analysis: Identify improvements, analyze design conflicts, evaluate resources, mitigate risks.
• Critical Decision Making: Assess complex situations and escalate appropriately.
• Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver results and drive improvements.
• Technical & Analytical Excellence: Apply analysis to navigate regulations and customer requirements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Create written communications to partners and stakeholders on pre-construction matters.
• Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot issues and drive to closure with minimal supervision.
• Travel: Up to 50% travel across AMET region to support site evaluations.
