Job summary

Harmony Construction Management Consultancy is seeking a Sr Planning Engineer to take ownership of programme controls on a major hospital project in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul. You will lead planning across the full project lifecycle, ensuring a clear, defendable critical path and timely delivery.

The role requires at least 10 years’ planning experience, strong Primavera P6/MS Project skills, and familiarity with EOT/delay claims.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of planning-engineering experience on construction or major projects.
• Advanced user of Primavera P6 and MS Project for baseline development, progress updating, resource loading and critical-path analysis.
• Track record producing target programmes, progress/performance reporting and as-built records.
• Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills; capable of leading planning meetings.
• Hospital/healthcare or complex building project experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain fully logic-linked baseline programmes in Primavera P6 and MS Project, with a clear, defensible critical path.
• Run progress updates and measurement, S-curves and earned-value analysis to gauge performance.
• Review contractors’ and subcontractors’ programmes against the master plan.
• Operate look-ahead and what-if scenarios to test time impact of change before it lands.
• Assess time impact of variations; support time-entitlement, EOT and delay claims with commercial team.
• Build and maintain as-built programmes; manage time risk and float with mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with contractual programme requirements; prepare tender/procurement event programmes.
• Provide regular programme status reporting to project leadership and client.

Harmony is growing its planning team and is looking for an accomplished Sr Planning Engineer to take ownership of programme controls on a major, complex hospital programme. The assignment is site-based in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul. The exact location is shared with shortlisted candidates during the process.

The role

Harmony is looking for a Planning Engineer with at least 10 years’ experience to join our team on a hospital project in Beylikdüzü, İstanbul. You will run the planning and scheduling function across the full project lifecycle — design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover — providing the clear, trustworthy programme intelligence that keeps delivery safe and efficient. We are especially looking for someone with strong contract administration and claims (EOT / delay) experience.

• Develop, update and maintain fully logic-linked baseline programmes in Primavera P6 and MS Project, with a clear, defensible critical path.
• Run progress updates and measurement, S-curves and earned-value analysis to give a true read on performance.
• Review and assess contractors’ and subcontractors’ programmes against the master plan.
• Operate look-ahead and what-if scenarios to test the time impact of change before it lands.
• Assess the time impact of variations and change events; support time-entitlement, EOT and delay claims alongside the commercial team.
• Build and maintain as-built programmes, identify divergence from the baseline, and manage time risk and float with mitigation recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual (FIDIC / bespoke) programme requirements; prepare tender / procurement event programmes.
• Provide regular, predictable programme status reporting to project leadership and the client.

What we’re looking for
