Job summary

Vodafone Türkiye is seeking an experienced engineer to support Optical Transport networks and SDN initiatives. You will oversee Level 2 operations, troubleshoot complex faults, and drive digitalization of the network to improve reliability and performance.

The role requires strong knowledge of DWDM/Ethernet, programming basics, and English communication skills. Hybrid work options and a collaborative environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical/electronics/telecommunications or software engineering.
• Experience with optical transport networks and SDN.
• Familiar with major equipment from Nokia and Huawei.
• Strong knowledge of DWDM, Ethernet, and synchronization.
• Experience in network fault management and incident handling.
• Programming experience in common languages.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 operations for optical transport networks and services.
• Lead digitalization of the Optical Transport network.
• Troubleshoot and analyze SDN-related issues and tools.
• Manage vendor relations and network health.
• Ensure incidents are resolved within SLAs/KPIs.

Skills

BSc degree in Electrical/Electronics/

Optical Transport Networks experience

SDN knowledge

Nokia & Huawei gear knowledge

Programming languages: Java, C++, C#,

Routing protocols (OSPF/IS-IS/LDP/MPLS

CCNA/CCNP certificates

Incident management under SLA/KPI

English fluency

Education
