Job summary

Vodafone Turkey is seeking a technically skilled professional to manage Level 2 operations for Optical Transport networks and SDN environments. You will work with Nokia and Huawei DWDM equipment, lead network digitalization, and ensure 24/7 reliability while collaborating with vendors and customers.

The role requires strong programming knowledge (Java/C++/Python), routing protocol expertise, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications/Software Engineering, (Master degree preferred)
• 4 years of experience on Optical Transport Networks and Networking/SDN
• Knowledge of DWDM, Synchronization, Ethernet
• Good understanding of Nokia and Huawei equipment
• Experience with SDN technologies and related tools
• Programming languages: Java, C++, C#, Python or JavaScript
• Familiarity with routing protocols: OSPF/IS-IS/LDP/MPLS-TE/RSVP-TE/L2-VPN/L3 VPN/IPv6
• English fluency and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Level 2 operations for related products and services
• Lead digitalization of Optical Transport network
• Manage vendor relations for troubleshooting and network health
• Provide timely incidents management and SLA/KPI adherence
• Work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
• Ensure 7/24 operation of Vodafone Turkey Access Network equipment
