• 8+ years of database management experience
• 4+ years in Open-source, Big data or DWH DB management
• Deep knowledge of database technologies, architecture, and data security
• Advanced analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
• Proven people leadership with accountability for service delivery

Responsibilities

• Design architecture standards for open-source database platforms
• Lead HA, DR, and business continuity solutions for mission-critical DB environments
• Architect and enhance DB platforms on-prem and in cloud infrastructure
• Develop database structures and features to meet organizational needs
• Mentor and supervise open-source database teams
• Drive performance optimization, capacity planning, and scalability assessments
• Define DB architectures for Kubernetes, OpenShift, and containerized environments
• Develop DBaaS strategies and automation frameworks
• Establish best practices for database security, encryption, and governance
• Collaborate with application, infra, cloud, security, and DevOps teams
