Job summary

Vodafone is seeking an experienced AI & Data Architect to design, build, and govern end-to-end AI and data solutions. You will lead deployments, collaborate with data scientists on GenAI, and ensure robust data foundations across hybrid environments, including on‑prem and cloud platforms.

You’ll guide data engineers and engineers in building scalable analytics, ML pipelines, and real-time data processing while applying MLOps, DataOps, and AIOps to maximize business value.

Qualifications

• 6+ years designing, building, and managing large-scale data applications, especially in Hadoop ecosystems.
• Hands-on with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Strong GenAI knowledge including foundational models and reinforcement learning.
• Expertise in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience deploying AI models in production.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of private/hybrid cloud environments and microservice architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and govern end-to-end AI and data solutions across domains.
• Lead deployment of AI models and systems in production.
• Collaborate with data scientists on GenAI using foundational models in local data centers.
• Define efficient data architectures for ML models and seamless data sharing.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and cost efficiency in pipelines.
• Apply MLOps, DataOps, and AIOps principles.
• Provide mentoring to data engineers and scientists.
