The Opportunity

As a Senior Data Centre Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering cutting‑edge data centre solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to Arup's global expertise in data centre design.

What you will do:

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of data centre design principles.
• Collaborate closely with general contractors, other engineers, architects, and project management teams.
• Manage the production of drawings.
• Prepare and coordinate mechanical reports and specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of others, ensuring effective collaboration with engineers of other disciplines and project managers.
• Attend meetings and communicate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

• A strong understanding of balancing engineering priorities on diverse projects.
• Proven ability to quickly develop successful client relationships.

• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in English.
