Job summary

Arup in Istanbul seeks a Senior Mechanical BIM Technician to support the delivery of complex construction projects. You will prepare designs, drawings and coordination of mechanical systems using CAD and BIM tools, covering HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and other building services.

You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects and other disciplines to develop coordinated and practical solutions, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting/BIM design.
• Preferably graduated from a Technical Drafting programme at a vocational high school or related technical university programme.
• Strong knowledge of Revit MEP, MagiCAD for Revit and Navisworks (Dynamo is an advantage).
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop mechanical BIM models and technical drawings.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with electrical, structural and architectural disciplines.
• Support project delivery through accurate and high-quality documentation.
• Use BIM tools to improve design coordination and project efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.
