Job summary

ARX Türkiye, part of ARX Global, is hiring a Senior Architect to lead architectural design and coordination for national and international infrastructure and transportation projects. You will manage design processes, contribute to concept through construction documentation, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Architecture and 8+ years in similar projects, with Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in architectural design, project coordination and technical drawing.
• Experience in infrastructure, railway systems, metro, tramway, station, depot area or technical buildings.
• Proficient in concept design, preliminary design, detailed design and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

ARX Türkiye, as part of ARX Global, is the Türkiye office of a global organization providing engineering and design services for international infrastructure and superstructure projects. We are looking for a Senior Architect with experience in infrastructure, railway systems, metro lines, train stations, depot areas and multidisciplinary design coordination.

This position will be responsible for architectural design and coordination activities within national and international infrastructure and transportation projects.

Main responsibilities include:

• Managing architectural design processes for infrastructure, railway, metro, tramway, station, depot and technical building projects,
• Taking an active role in concept design, preliminary design, detailed design, construction documentation and architectural detailing phases,
• Preparing and reviewing architectural drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, details and application drawings,
• Coordinating architectural design works with structural, mechanical, electrical, transportation and other engineering disciplines,
• Participating in technical coordination meetings with clients, authorities, consultants and project stakeholders,
• Developing design alternatives and technical solutions in line with project requirements,
• Following up revision, quality control and project submission processes,
• Contributing to task planning, coordination and quality control within the architectural team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture,
• Preferably minimum 8 years of experience in architectural design, project coordination and technical drawing processes,
• Experience in infrastructure, railway systems, metro, tramway, station, depot area or technical building projects,
• Strong knowledge of concept design, preliminary design, detailed design, construction documentation and architectural detailing,
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination,
• Ability to manage architectural tasks, follow project schedules and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders,
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit,
• Knowledge of Navisworks, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset,
• Strong technical drawing, detailing, planning and problem-solving skills,
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment,
• Good command of English is must,
• Membership in the Chamber of Architects of Türkiye is an asset.
