Arup in Istanbul is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Team on local and international projects. You will contribute to building services design including HVAC, public health, and firefighting systems, collaborating with renowned architects and a talented global firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC design, energy modelling, and sustainable building design.
• Knowledge and practical experience with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, Solibri, MagiCAD.
• Experience with energy analyses using HAP, IES, eQUEST, EnergyPlus.

Responsibilities

• Be involved in building services mechanical design activities (HVAC, public health, firefighting).
• Collaborate with architects on prestigious projects in Türkiye and overseas.
• Prepare design reports, technical notes, and project documentation.
• Develop skills and prepare building services design documents within timelines.
• Design MEP systems for a wide range of building types and requirements.
