Job summary

Arup in Istanbul seeks an experienced Senior Mechanical BIM Technician to lead the development of BIM models and technical drawings for complex construction projects.

You will coordinate mechanical systems with electrical, structural and architectural teams, delivering precise documentation and enabling efficient project delivery through BIM tools. Strong Revit/MagiCAD/Navisworks knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting/BIM design.
• Preferably trained in a Technical Drafting programme or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Revit MEP, MagiCAD for Revit and Navisworks.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Experience coordinating drawings across disciplines.
• Completed military service (for male candidates).
• Ability to work in a team with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop mechanical BIM models and technical drawings.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with electrical, structural and architectural disciplines.
• Support project delivery through accurate and high-quality documentation.
• Use BIM tools to improve design coordination and project efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.
