Job summary

Tezzro in Istanbul, Türkiye, is hiring a senior mechanical design engineer to lead the mechanical engineering of our platform. You will turn requirements into practical, manufacturable designs and shepherd them from concept to production, collaborating closely with hardware and electronics teams.

You will define tooling, documentation, and validation strategies, drive DFMA decisions, and ensure robust enclosures and thermal management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience, with production release experience.
• Fluent Onshape experience required; deep CAD knowledge.
• Deep sheet metal capability and flange/tolerance understanding.
• Practical fastening/joining judgement with experience.
• Solid drafting discipline: GD&T, drawing packs, tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete mechanical designs from architecture to production for enclosures, structures, mechanisms, and assemblies.
• Design precision sheet metal parts and assemblies for workshop fabrication.
• Create sealed enclosures with gasketing and thermal management.
• Design consumer-facing housings with a premium feel and cleanability.
• Lead electro-mechanical integration with PCB enclosures, displays, connectors, harnesses.
• Perform structural analysis (FEA) and tolerance stack-ups.
• Run thermal analysis and simulations to size materials and paths.
• Validate designs on real hardware and feed results back into CAD models.
• Produce production-grade documentation: 2D drawings, BOMs, assembly guides.
• Drive tooling decisions and manufacturing partnerships; ensure DFMA alignment.
• Oversee prototype build, assembly, testing, and iteration.
