Job summary

BNP Paribas Cardif in Turkey is seeking an experienced Java software developer to join the Software Development Team. You will design and implement solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring, and modern web technologies to meet business and regulatory requirements.

The role demands 5+ years of hands-on experience, strong problem solving, and the ability to work in a team with Agile practices. You will contribute to architecture discussions, ensure code quality, and support maintenance and integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related major.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related positions.
• Ability to follow technical literature in English.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Knowledge of SDLC and modern web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions aligned with analysis and architecture to meet business and regulatory needs.
• Contribute to projects by analyzing requirements and managing activities.
• Provide development support for small to medium enhancements.
• Maintain applications to keep them functional and bug-free.
• Improve the codebase through continuous inspection and refactoring.
• Implement secure coding practices and integration patterns.

What Makes You A Perfect Fit?

• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering or equivalent major,
• Team oriented, high analytical intelligence, responsible, highly motivated
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related positions
• Ability to follow technical literature in English
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, Design Patterns and Application Integration Pattern
• Good level of knowledge (and hands on experience on most of them) Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSF, Spring Security, Primefaces, Maven, Spring MVC
• Experience with a version control system, preferably Git
• Good level of knowledge on JPA, SQL, JMS, HTML, CSS, XML
• Understanding of service integration requirements and strong experience with REST/SOAP protocols
• Good understanding and high awareness of application security requirements
• Understanding of SDLC and its execution flow
• Knowledge on modern web technologies and concepts (React, Micro-frontends, SPA, etc.)
• A messaging platform knowledge (RabbitMQ, Apache MQ, Kafka etc.)
• Hands-on experience on unit testing frameworks
