Job summary

BNP Paribas Cardif in Turkey seeks a data analytics professional to lead cross-functional analytics initiatives and translate complex data into actionable insights.

You will build models, collaborate with risk and product teams, and contribute to claims analytics and risk analytics. The role offers hybrid working hours and home-office options, with a focus on precision and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Actuary, Computer science and related areas.
• At least 4-5 years of work experience in data analytics.
• Experience in the Insurance industry or Financial Sector is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of statistics and predictive modelling techniques.
• Preferably Python as a data analytics tool.
• Demonstrable experience of data modelling tools and techniques, applying best practice.
• Excellent command of English both written and oral.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams as well as individually.
• Proactivity, attention to detail, strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and objectives to develop strategies for data analysis and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques.
• Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
• Select, configure and implement analytical solutions.
• Communicate results and business impacts of insights to stakeholders.
• Develop deep knowledge of business products, marketing strategies, claims analytics and risk analytics.
• Propose analysis solutions to support business needs.
• Use data mining methods to find insights from claim analytics, risk analytics, production and customer analytics.
• Proactively identify and investigate new analysis opportunities.
• Deliver ad hoc analytical projects and/or research as required.
