Job summary

MR.DIY Türkiye is expanding in Turkey, seeking a senior purchaser to continuously source suppliers and manage local purchases. The role requires 5+ years in retail purchasing, fluency in English, and strong negotiation skills.

You will track trends at fairs, analyze sales data, and coordinate with our global team through the end-to-end product cycle. Ideal candidates have a background in engineering or economics, advanced Excel skills, and a team-oriented mindset to support stores and warehouses

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering or Economics/Administrative Sciences.
• 5+ years of purchasing experience in retail.
• Experience in Stationery and Kitchenware preferred.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong negotiation/communication skills and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Continuously sourcing for new suppliers/manufacturers in the local region.
• Attending fairs to track trends and find new products/suppliers.
• Tracking and analyzing sales reports to review product performance.
• Preparing new product proposals and price comparisons via market surveys.
• Collaborating with suppliers and global team from selection to delivery.
• Supporting stores and warehouse with local purchasing needs.
• Coordinating purchasing processes with the global team.
• Attending regular meetings with the global team.
