Job summary

Mükellef Teknoloji is seeking a Finance & Accounting Specialist to join our Finance Management department. You will manage daily finance and statutory accounting processes, cash flow, budgeting, and cost control while supporting month-end and year-end closings and financial reporting.

The role requires strong analytical skills, ownership, and the ability to collaborate across stakeholders in a fast-growing startup. Proficiency in Turkish statutory accounting and English is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Min. 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish statutory accounting and finance operations.
• Hands-on experience in cash flow management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Good understanding of financial reporting and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• High sense of ownership and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily finance and statutory accounting processes
• Maintain and monitor the Uniform Chart of Accounts (Tek Düzen Hesap Planı)
• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and budget tracking activities
• Perform cost control analyses and monitor operating expenses
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses
• Reconcile bank accounts, payments, and financial transactions
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and company policies
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and internal controls
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support financial decision-making
