Senior ETL Developer – Legal & Regulatory Reporting
Data is at the very heart of ING Türkiye and data expertise plays a pivotal role in our legal and regulatory reporting excellence. We are looking for a Senior ETL Developer who will contribute to our Legal Reporting Chapter by developing reliable, scalable, and automation‑driven data pipelines that power critical regulatory submissions.
This role is designed for technical professionals with deep ETL engineering expertise, strong financial & regulatory reporting knowledge, and hands‑on experience in Türkiye’s legal reporting landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes powering legal and regulatory reporting systems
- Build robust, scalable, and auditable data pipelines ensuring high data quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Implement automation capabilities to minimize manual intervention in reporting processes
- Translate regulatory reporting requirements into technical specifications and structured data models
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and chapter leads to align technical solutions with regulatory expectations
- Execute disciplined, well‑documented, and controlled development processes aligned with ING standards
- Perform reconciliation, validation, and data quality checks to ensure zero‑tolerance for data defects in regulatory submissions
- Support architectural improvements and modernization initiatives within legal reporting data platforms
Qualifications
- 10+ years of total experience in ETL development, data engineering, or data architecture
- 4–5+ years of hands‑on experience in financial and legal/regulatory reporting
- Strong command of ETL tools and frameworks (ODI, DataStage, Oracle/Data Warehouse ETL pipelines or equivalent technologies)
- Experience designing and implementing complex data models, data flows, and batch/real‑time pipelines
- Solid understanding of Türkiye regulatory reporting dynamics, supervisory expectations, and data quality requirements
- Proven ability to translate regulatory texts into technical transformations and structured datasets
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automation, metadata management, and orchestration tools
- Good understanding of relational databases, SQL performance tuning, and data warehouse principles
- Exposure to data quality frameworks, lineage, and auditing mechanisms
- Familiarity with agile ways of working
