Job summary

Karadeniz Holding seeks a Technical Inspection Manager (Electrical & Automation) to join its Operational Excellence team at the Kağıthane head office, Istanbul.

You will lead audits across power generation plants, oversee inspections of electrical generation, automation and control systems, and drive continuous improvements to reliability and asset performance. Strong experience in HV systems and SAP PM is essential, with travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in maritime, power, shipbuilding or industrial sectors.
• Expertise in HV electrical systems, power distribution and protection.
• Strong PLC, DCS, SCADA and automation knowledge.
• Experience with electrical protection, relay coordination and power system engineering.
• Knowledge of equipment automation, control and protection systems.
• Hands-on RCA, risk assessment and reliability engineering methods.
• Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs and maintenance docs.
• ERP/CMMS familiarity, preferably SAP PM.
• English at B2+ and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute technical audits across power plants for safety, reliability and asset integrity.
• Plan and oversee inspections of electrical generation, transmission, distribution, automation and control systems.
• Evaluate equipment condition and maintenance programs with RCA-based actions.
• Develop engineering solutions to improve system reliability and asset performance.
• Prepare technical incident and failure reports with root causes and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations, OEMs and contractors on improvement projects.
