Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Istanbul for the Offer Engineering team. The role focuses on automating builds and deployments at scale, collaborating with multinational teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable release processes.

The ideal candidate brings 8 years of DevOps experience, strong expertise in CI/CD, Git, scripting, container tech (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud environments, and backend Java development. Argo CD, monitoring, and security tooling are considered a plus.

Qualifications

Approximately 8 years of DevOps or similar experience.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
Experience with Git and related workflows.
Scripting in Shell or Python for automation.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes; OpenShift is a plus.
Experience with major cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Familiarity with monitoring and log management tools (Splunk, Grafana).
Backend development experience in Java, Maven, Spring.
Argo CD for releases and rollouts; security tools like SonarQube/Black Duck.
Kafka, Groovy, and Drools knowledge is a bonus.
Experience with Agile Kanban and SAFe methodologies.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting practices.
Contribute to backend development in Java/Spring where needed.
