Job summary

Fundraise Up is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE to own an end-to-end platform area, either observability or CI/CD. You will design, implement, and operate the area, ensuring reliability and scale, and mentor others.

You will debug incidents, lead post-mortems, and participate in on-call rotations while driving improvements across on-prem and Kubernetes environments. The role requires 6+ years of hands-on Linux, Prometheus, CI/CD, containers, and scripting experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a DevOps Engineer / SRE or very close responsibilities.
• Experience owning technical initiatives end-to-end.
• Strong Linux (Ubuntu) skills.
• Working knowledge of the Prometheus stack and alerting.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience and pipeline design.
• Containers: Docker, Helm, Kubernetes.
• Ansible, Git, Bash or Python scripting.
• Production/on-call experience and incident response.
• Mentoring engineers and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own one core platform area end-to-end: observability or CI/CD and drive architecture and roadmap.
• Drive technical initiatives from requirements and design through production rollout.
• Define requirements and next steps in ambiguous situations.
• Design for reliability and scale across platforms and integrations.
• Support developers with deployments, metrics, alerts, and logs; participate in on-call rotations.
• Automate repetitive toil and improve tooling to reduce manual work.
• Investigate production incidents and lead post-mortems with systemic fixes.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through reviews and pairing.
• Utilize AI to research, troubleshoot, and develop across tasks.
