Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in Turkey seeks a Lead AWS DevOps Engineer to drive cloud automation and scalable CI/CD pipelines across applications and infra.

You will design, implement, and maintain AWS-based solutions, IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, and collaborate with development and operations teams to raise deployment reliability. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with AWS DevOps methods and cloud delivery systems.
• Extensive background in CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitLab CI/CD, and Jenkins.
• Hands-on with AWS CodePipeline/CodeDeploy and related APIs.
• Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for IaC.
• Strong security practices including IAM roles and security groups.
• Scripting in Bash, Python; some Perl exposure.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Ansible/Puppet/Rundeck.
• Linux/Unix proficiency and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes; ECS/ECR/EC2; RDS/Aurora/DynamoDB; Elasticsearch.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain AWS cloud solutions focused on automation, scalability, and security.
• Lead IaC efforts with Terraform and CloudFormation across environments.
• Improve deployment workflows and source control with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy.
• Collaborate with dev and infra teams on deployment, monitoring, and reliability best practices.
• Drive tooling improvements, platform upgrades, and DevOps maturity initiatives.
• Ensure cloud security alignment (IAM, SGs, access controls).
• Assist with networking tasks across AWS and on-prem setups.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and perform root cause analysis.
