Job summary

Şişecam is seeking an experienced AI/ML Software Engineer to design and develop AI agents and end-to-end RAG solutions for enterprise use. You will work on MCP servers, secure integrations with SAP and BigQuery, and deliver NLP-powered information extraction and semantic search across large content repositories.

You will contribute to prompts, context management, model governance, and cost optimization while collaborating on production deployments and ongoing AI innovations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software/data engineering experience with LLM/NLP-based systems.
• Proven experience delivering production-grade LLM solutions (RAG, AI agent, or intelligent assistant).
• Strong Python development, including testing, asynchronous programming, type safety, and version control.
• Solid expertise in RAG architectures, retrieval techniques, tool calling, context management, and document processing.
• Deep understanding of NLP concepts: classification, information extraction, NER, summarization, and semantic search.
• Experience with LLM evaluation, error analysis, and hallucination mitigation.
• Experience building AI apps on cloud platforms; GCP and Vertex AI are a plus.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks, MCP, vector databases, and model fine-tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents for key business functions using scalable multi-agent architectures.
• Develop and maintain MCP servers and secure integrations with enterprise systems, including SAP, BigQuery, and document repositories.
• Build and optimize end-to-end RAG solutions, improving retrieval quality and system performance.
• Develop NLP/LLM-powered solutions for information extraction, classification, summarization, and semantic search.
• Create evaluation frameworks, datasets, testing strategies, and quality metrics for reliable AI agents.
• Establish engineering best practices covering prompts, context management, security guardrails, governance, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate on production deployments, release management, and operational monitoring of AI solutions.
• Stay current with AI advancements and contribute to technology evaluation and architectural decisions.

• Create evaluation frameworks, datasets, testing strategies, and quality metrics to ensure reliable AI agent performance.
• Establish engineering best practices covering prompts, context management, security guardrails, model governance, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate on production deployments, release management, and operational monitoring of AI solutions.
• Stay current with advancements in AI and contribute to technology evaluation, knowledge sharing, and architectural decisions.

All About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s or Ph.D. is a plus.
• 5+ years of software and/or data engineering experience, including hands-on work with LLM and NLP-based systems.
• Proven experience delivering at least one production-grade LLM solution, such as a RAG system, AI agent, or intelligent assistant.
• Strong Python development skills, including clean code, testing, asynchronous programming, type safety, and version control.
• Solid expertise in RAG architectures, retrieval techniques, tool/function calling, context management, and document processing.
• Strong understanding of NLP concepts and their application to tasks such as classification, information extraction, NER, summarization, and semantic search.
• Experience with LLM evaluation, error analysis, and hallucination mitigation.
• Experience developing AI applications on cloud platforms; GCP and Vertex AI experience is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks, MCP, vector databases, and model fine-tuning techniques is preferred.
• Excellent command of English
