Job summary

Şişecam is seeking an experienced BI Analyst to translate business requirements into data-driven analytical solutions and design data warehouses and BI prototypes. You will collaborate with data engineers and BI teams, perform data quality checks, and lead UAT to ensure accuracy of analytical outputs.

You will work on data integration, modeling, and ETL processes while analyzing the impact of source-system changes and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, IS, or related field.
• 5+ years in Business Analysis and BI design.
• Strong SQL and BI tools knowledge.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into structured, data-driven analytical problems and technical specifications.
• Design conceptual data warehouse structures and BI solution prototypes based on business needs.
• Conduct data quality checks, testing, and validation to ensure outputs meet requirements and quality standards.
• Lead UAT and conduct data tests to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and BI teams on Data Integration, Data Modeling, and ETL processes.
• Analyze impact of changes in source systems on pipelines.
• Contribute to data process improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• Act as a project coordinator for analytics initiatives and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Provide user support through troubleshooting, documentation, and interpretation of outputs.

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and conduct data tests to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and BI teams on Data Integration, Data Modeling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure technical implementation matches business goals
• Analyze the impact of changes in source systems (e.g., SAP upgrades, new software) on existing data pipelines.
• Contribute to data process improvements by identifying efficiency, accuracy, and scalability enhancement opportunities.
• Act as a project coordinator for specific analytics initiatives, defining scope and ensuring alignment between stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Provide user support by assisting with troubleshooting, documentation, and interpretation of analytical outputs.

All About You

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5 or more years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis and designing data warehouse and BI (Business Intelligence) solutions.
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with BI tools (Looker, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Proficient with data modeling, ETL frameworks, and data management best practices.
• Solid understanding of data privacy, access control
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent command of English both written and spoken
