Job summary

Arup in Istanbul is seeking a Senior Data Centre Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver advanced data centre solutions. You will work on prestigious projects in Turkey and internationally, leading mechanical design efforts and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, a minimum of 10 years’ experience in data centre design, and strong client-facing communication.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of data centre design principles.
Experience with mechanical design elements for large facilities.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients.
Proven ability to develop and manage project drawings and specifications.
Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate a strong understanding of data centre design principles.
Undertake mechanical design elements for major data centre projects.
Collaborate closely with general contractors, other engineers, architects, and project management teams.
Manage the production of drawings.
Prepare and coordinate mechanical reports and specifications.
Supervise and coordinate the work of others, ensuring effective collaboration with engineers of other disciplines and project managers.
Attend meetings and communicate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
