Job summary

Arup in Istanbul is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our Mechanical Team for local and international projects. You will participate in building services design, HVAC, public health and firefighting, and coordinate with architects.

The role requires a degree in mechanical engineering, strong English, 3–5 years HVAC and energy modelling experience, and hands-on BIM and energy analysis software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's in mechanical engineering from reputable universities.
• Excellent command of English both written and spoken.
• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC design, building energy modelling, and sustainable building design.
• Knowledge of BIM software (Navisworks, Solibri, Revit, MagiCAD).
• Experience with energy analyses using software such as HAP, IES, eQUEST and EnergyPlus.
• Experience with parametric design/programming languages (C#, Python) is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, and HAP/Trace 700 or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Involving in building services (mechanical) design activities (HVAC, public health and firefighting).
• Providing interdisciplinary coordination and document production.
• Responsible for preparation of the building services design documents within time and to the highest quality.
