Job summary

Blue Projects in Istanbul is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of HVAC, plumbing, sewage and firefighting systems for building services. You will coordinate across MEP, structural and architectural teams to ensure compliant, on-time delivery.

The role requires 10+ years of mechanical design experience, strong English skills, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage and Office. You will engage suppliers and clients to resolve issues and drive quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 10+ years in mechanical design for building services (HVAC, plumbing, sewage, fire protection).
• Good English speaking and writing skills.
• Experience coordinating across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications to define applicable requirements.
• Perform calculations and energy analyses using spreadsheets and building simulation software (e.g., HAP).
• Design building service systems compliant with functional and safety requirements.
• Coordinate between MEP, structural and architectural disciplines.
• Maintain coordination with suppliers, subcontractors and clients.
• Prepare bills of quantities, tender books and tender documentation.
• Attend review meetings and inform clients about progress.
• Collaborate with clients to resolve issues efficiently.
